Construction Officially Begins for New $2 Million Wedding and Event Venue, The LedgeCrest Reserve

The LedgeCrest Reserve is newest venture for Wisconsin wedding experts Alliey + Co

Wisconsin wedding experts Alliey + Co and Smet Construction hosted a groundbreaking Friday for the brand new, $2 million wedding and event venue The LedgeCrest Reserve, located in Ledgeview, Wis.

The LedgeCrest Reserve is unlike any wedding and event venue currently available in the Green Bay and Appleton areas. The massive 9,600-square-foot building can host 400 people and will feature vaulted ceilings, grand chandeliers, white-washed walls, abundant natural light, serene reserve views and a large fireplace anchoring the room.

The space will also feature a large outdoor courtyard for 300 people, which can be used for wedding cocktail hours, wedding ceremonies, rehearsal dinners or corporate events. In addition, a spacious bridal suite is available for clients to use while getting ready for their wedding, or as a staging area for corporate events.

The LedgeCrest Reserve sets itself apart from other local venues because of its truly full-service packages available to clients. Not only do clients get a beautiful space, they also can choose packages that include portable bars and bartenders, chairs, a dance floor, linens, china, flatware and more, making the venue a one-stop shop and easing the stress of planning for clients. The LedgeCrest Reserve will also work solely with outside caterers, making the venue a new home for talented, licensed chefs and restaurants.

The LedgeCrest Reserve sets a new standard in the Northeast Wisconsin wedding industry because it was created by Wisconsin Master Wedding Planner Alliey Kline-Weichelt, who saw a need for a venue that made planning easier for newly-engaged couples and corporate clients.

Kline-Weichelt, CEO of Alliey + Co, has spent more than 10 years at the helm of award-winning sash&bow Wedding and Event Planning. Through Alliey + Co, Kline-Weichelt owns and manages several Wisconsin wedding companies, including sash&bow, Social Graces Paperie, The Wedding Magazine Green Bay and now, The LedgeCrest Reserve. Through Kline-Weichelt’s decade of experience, she’s planned more than 500 weddings and events throughout the state. Kline-Weichelt is also the state manager of both the Wisconsin and Minnesota Associations of Bridal Consultants.

“After more than a decade of serving brides and grooms in the Wisconsin wedding industry, I had a vision of the perfect wedding venue that was beautiful and spacious on it’s own, but that also had the ability to be transformed to suit a couple’s dream wedding plans,” said Kline-Weichelt. “That’s what you’ll find at LedgeCrest Reserve. I’ve always believed my clients deserve the very best and now we’re bringing that to you.”

Construction on the new venue kicked on Friday with an official groundbreaking and is expected to be complete on August 1, 2019.

“Over the years, we’ve had the great fortune of working on many one-of-a-kind projects and unique buildings that ultimately became signature facilities in the community,” said Smet. “We believe that The LedgeCrest Reserve at Olde School Square will be another one of those places that becomes a distinguished landmark for the greater community, and for all who will gather there for memorable events.”

The venue is currently booking weddings and events taking place in September 2019 and beyond. To inquire about your wedding or event, visit or.
