For the eight consecutive years Mercury Marine has presented Mr. Outboard’s Watersports Marine of De Pere, WI its prestigious Service Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Award for 2019.

Mercury Marine’s Service CSI Program measures the satisfaction of consumers after having service work done on their Mercury outboard or MerCruiser sterndrive or inboard.  A total of 206 out of 5,000 North American dealers qualified for the Service CSI Award for 2019.  Mr. Outboard’s was the only dealer in the Green Bay area to receive the award and with a score of 100/100 score ranks in the top 1% of all Mercury dealers.

KELLER, Inc. — Cory Vande Wettering has been named President of Keller, Inc., replacing Wayne Stellmacher who had been President and CEO since 2006.  After spending 12 years in sales, Vande Wettering intends to continue to lead Keller into the future, while still maintaining the integrity Keller has earned over the past 60 years, “I am excited to begin this new chapter as the next leader at Keller, Inc., to help grow our organization, and to continue to strengthen the legacy that our founder has instilled within our employee-ownership: to build every project as if it were our own.”

Stellmacher will continue to be a critical member of the Keller team as their Chief Executive Officer, remaining highly involved until his retirement in the first quarter of 2021.  Stellmacher will remain a Keller Board Member beyond his retirement date.

Updates on Mulva Cultural Center & Other De Pere Projects


The $80 million development of the cultural center in downtown De Pere is on track, and its scope is further defined with initial center leadership named. The cultural center is planned to fit with other Mulva family-funded downtown projects, including Notre Dame of De Pere school, St. Francis Xavier Parish Hall and church, and Front Street developments.

Today marks another milestone in the advancement of the Mulva Cultural Center with the naming of leaders who will take the project from planning to fruition. The Mulva Cultural Center Board of Directors has hired both a chief executive officer and a chief operations officer.

Michael (Mike) Van Asten has been named CEO. A visionary entrepreneur and developer, Van Asten has served as a consultant on the Mulva Cultural Center project for the past three years since its inception. The board also selected Dan McKenna, an experienced organizational and educational leader, as its President and COO. Jim Mulva will continue as the center’s Board Chairman.

Harley-Davidson of Appleton selected Bayland Buildings, Inc. as the general contractor of the upcoming showroom expansion project.

The DörrHotel of Sister Bay, and Bayland Buildings, Inc., recently broke ground on a new boutique hotel that will include 47 well-appointed rooms including seven suites. The facility is estimated to be complete by 2021.

Integrity Warehousing, LLC., selected Bayland Buildings, Inc. as the general contractor on a 125,000 SF warehouse facility.

Alliance Laundry Systems selected Bayland Buildings, Inc. as the general contractor on a multi-phase office renovation project.

Wisconsin Swim Academy and Bayland Buildings, Inc., recently broke ground on a new 6,000 square-foot aquatic center.The facility is estimated to be complete by Spring of 2020.

D2 Sports Pub and Bayland Buildings, Inc., recently broke ground on a new restaurant and sports bar. The facility is estimated to be complete by Summer of 2020.
