KELLER, INC. TO RECEIVE TWO EXCELLENCE IN DESIGN AWARDS
Kaukauna, WI – Keller, Inc. has been chosen to receive two 2019 Excellence in Design awards from American Buildings Company. Keller earned these awards for their design and construction of Hatch Distilling Company, located in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin.
The Excellence in Design competition recognizes building projects that are outstanding in design, architecture and illustrate the various applications of metal building systems. Hatch Distilling Company was chosen by American Buildings Company as the first place winner in the Retail Category, and was also awarded the bronze winner for overall Building of the Year for the distillery’s unique design that demonstrates innovative metal construction.
Hatch Distilling Company is a 7,300 square foot batch distillery that crafts spirits with local Door County organic grains and honey. The project was built for father/son co-owners, Russ and Chris Roedl, who had previously looked to remodel an existing building in Door County, but ultimately decided to build after finding a vacant piece of property in Egg Harbor, WI.
The distillery is the first of its kind in historic Door County. The contemporary design has been a welcomed change by locals and tourists since the company opened their doors for business in July of 2018. Once at the distillery, guests can enjoy the tasting room, visit an educational area that showcases the utilization of local grains and honey to create distilled spirits, or view the area dedicated to in-house spirit distillery.
Keller, Inc. is 100% employee-owned and has offices in the Fox Cities, Madison, Milwaukee and Wausau. They are leaders in the industry specializing in new construction, remodel, retrofit, and reroof projects. They have the staff and expertise to take projects from the early phases of design through the construction process to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.
