De Pere, WI (July 9, 2019) – It’s going to be a lively and entertaining weekend downtown De Pere. Definitely De Pere is excited to announce the second Farmers Market, Art Walk, and Food Truck Rally of the season as well as the first Yoga in the Park. Farmers Market and Yoga in the Park kick off the festivities on Thursday, July 11. Art Walk takes place on Friday, July 12 with a trolly taking visitors throughout downtown to enjoy artists, live music and more. And, the weekend wraps up at Food Truck Rally on Sunday, July 14 with delicious food, drink, and family fun.

Farmers Market | Thursday, July 11
Explore downtown De Pere at the Farmers Market presented by BayCare Clinic on

Thursday evenings through September 26 from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm (7:00 pm in September) for live music, delicious food, cold beverages, shopping and more. The market takes place on George Street between Broadway and Wisconsin Street.

Visitors will enjoy an intimate setting with beautiful river views, picturesque sunsets, and great company! This years expanded market features a wonderful variety of products. With over 30 vendors selling fresh fruits and vegetables, meats and eggs, breads and baked goods, specialty foods, and handcrafted items, there is something for everyone.

Yoga in the Park | Thursday, July 11

Join Flow Yoga Studio in a community practice of yoga every Thursday from July 11 through August 22 at 6 pm at Voyageur Park, overlooking the beautiful Fox River. The free outdoor class, presented by Nicolet National Bank, offers a quiet retreat to unwind and reenergize for yogis of all skill levels. Attendees are invited to bring family and friends, a yoga mat, and water bottle for a fun summer evening in downtown De Pere!

Art Walk | Friday, July 12

Art Walk presented by Pomp’s Tire Services takes guests through various businesses showcasing professional and emerging artists. There will be 20+ venues hosting 40+ artists exhibiting and selling a variety of media including painting, jewelry, ceramics, graphics, basketry, photography, glass, and more.

Attendees will enjoy live outdoor music while meeting local artists and discovering De Pere’s charming and historic downtown. The event also highlights six outdoor murals decorating downtown and an outdoor seasonal public art exhibit featuring 10 sculptures that enliven the streetscape of De Pere.

A free trolly will take visitors from the east side to the west side operating in a continuous loop throughout the event. The pick up/drop off location will be at the corner of George and Broadway Streets and in the Nicolet Square parking lot by the artlessBastard. Attendees can pick up the artist listing with a map from these two locations as well.

Food Truck Rally | Sunday, July 14
Food Trucks will gather in the heart of downtown De Pere this Sunday, July 14, from 4:00 –

8:00 pm for an evening of good food and wholesome family fun! The second De Pere Food Truck Rally presented by Performa Architects and Engineers features a variety of food trucks. Guests can enjoy favorite bites, ethnic specialties, sweet treats, and craft beer.

The family friendly event will include live music from local artists, outdoor games including life size Connect Four, Jenga, Tic-Tac-Toe, and Corn Hole Toss as well as other activities for all to enjoy. There will be face painting, henna, balloon animals, and fun for the kids.

Located just steps from the Fox River Trail, the De Pere Food Truck Rally is a special place to be this Sunday evening!

Definitely De Pere is a 501(c)(3) non-profit nationally accredited Main Street Program and a Business Improvement District. The purpose of the organization is to improve quality of life through assisting in the revitalization of the downtown. Definitely De Pere does this through economic development, promotions, special events, design and beautification.
