Schoenwalder is SERVPRO’s New Owner

GREEN BAY WI March 15, 2021: Douglas Schoenwalder is the new owner of SERVPRO of Brown County, a premier fire, water, mold, and storm damage restoration company serving homes and businesses in Northeast Wisconsin. He acquired SERVPRO from Mike Bogenschuetz, who recently retired.

“I have a background in reconstruction, and SERVPRO of Brown County is a good fit,” Schoenwalder said. “After we’ve mitigated the damage in a home or business, we focus on reconstruction. We strive to bring the home or commercial space to full recovery, just like our motto says – ‘Like it never even happened.’”

In addition to the change of ownership, SERVPRO of Brown County moved from the Village of Howard to a facility at 516 N. 8th St., De Pere. The company’s contact information remains the same, except for the address.

Schoenwalder previously worked as an electrical inspector for the City of Green Bay for 7 years and has also owned and operated a local electrical contracting company for many years. He is a graduate of Southern Door High School and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College where he completed the Electrical Apprenticeship Program. He holds a master electrician’s license and a building contractor’s license.

SERVPRO is the industry leader in residential and commercial restoration and now they will also focus on helping customers with their remodeling needs.

“While our typical mitigation processes are in progress, we are now able to offer additional services such as remodeling, adding a bathroom, or the finishing of a basement,” Schoenwalder said.

Faith and family are important to Schoenwalder. He is involved in music ministry and outreach at his church and serves on the Acts 1:8 Ministry board. He and his wife, Sarah, have been married for 35 years, and they have two daughters.
