Directory listing
Every De Pere Area Chamber membership includes a listing in the live member directory — searchable by name, category and community, alongside the chamber's 299 member businesses.
Your listing sits in one category, so someone looking for a contractor, caterer, financial adviser or signs company can filter straight to it — and they arrive already trusting the chamber that vouched for you. That's the warm handoff a Google result doesn't give you.
The directory lives on the chamber's member platform and links out from this site. It's included at every level, starting at Classic ($300) — and you don't have to be in De Pere proper, since the chamber serves 11 communities.

Ribbon cutting & orientation
Ribbon cuttings and celebrations are included from Classic ($300). The chamber turns up with the ribbon, the scissors and a crowd — it's your photo, your moment, and your introduction to the membership.
Community ($650) adds the enhanced package: a photographer and videographer capture the day for your own promotion, and it's shared across the chamber website, blog and social channels. That's a $500 value, and it can be bought à la carte at the same price from any level.
Orientation is the second step of getting connected — join, schedule an orientation with the chamber's Director of Engagement, then attend your first event and meet other business owners.

Members-only event pricing
Members pay less at every chamber event — golf outings, galas, networking lunches and after-hours mixers. With 164 events a year, the discount adds up.
A Golf Outing foursome is $625 for members against $675 for everyone else, and the Cabin Fever Indoor Golf Classic is $500 against $550. Members-only pricing is included from Classic ($300), and sponsorship rates carry a member discount too.
Beyond the marquee events, networking runs all year: Business with Christ on the first Wednesday of each month, Morning Business Brew and Let's Lunch on alternating months, the quarterly Focus Forum Lunch Series, and bi-monthly after-hours community mixers.

Visibility services
Every promotional service the chamber offers carries a published price. Buy them one at a time from any level, or let a higher tier fold them into your dues.
The website banner runs a month at a time with a limit of four advertisers, and the newsletter ad reaches 1,000+ people through the monthly newsletter and weekly event emails — also capped at four a month.
Connector ($1,500) includes a newsletter ad and a guest blog opportunity. Catalyst ($3,500) adds the Ask the Expert segment, a Business or Employer Spotlight, a $500 marketing package and a guest appearance on "Bridging Connections."

Leadership & regional access
The top two levels buy a seat at the table — leadership development, a direct line to the board, and a platform that reaches past De Pere.
Catalyst ($3,500) includes a scholarship to the chamber's Lead Beyond Limits leadership cohort, a seat at the annual Breakfast with the Board each fall, two seats at the awards banquet, and a personal membership concierge who builds a plan around your business.
Champion ($7,000) sends up to eight of your team to the regional event of your choice — Economic Development summits, Leadership Development and the like — and makes you Top-Level Sponsor of the State of the Chamber each December.

Foundation connection
The De Pere Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation is the chamber's charitable arm — a separate 501(c)(3), governed by its own Board of Directors.
The distinction matters for your bookkeeping. Membership dues go to the chamber, a 501(c)(6) business association, and are deductible as an ordinary business expense. Gifts to the Foundation go to a separate 501(c)(3) and are deductible as charitable contributions. Related organizations, legally distinct.
Supporting it funds education and leadership development, community wellness and sustainability work across the greater De Pere region. In 2026 the Foundation adds recognition efforts for veteran-owned and women-owned businesses, along with programming to support them.

The DPACCF is governed by its own Board of Directors. Donations are tax-deductible; chamber membership dues are not.

When does my directory listing go live?
Your directory listing is activated once your membership application is processed and your dues are received. A real De Pere person follows up within one business day of your application and will confirm the go-live date with you then. If you need it live by a particular date — an opening, a launch, a campaign — say so on the application or call (920) 334-6500 and the chamber will work to it. You can also email info@deperechamber.org.
Do I have to attend events to get value from membership?
No. Several member benefits deliver value without attending a single event. Your directory listing is always on and searchable by residents, visitors, and other members 24/7 — no attendance required. Visibility services like the Member Spotlight and Guest Blog go out to the chamber's full audience regardless of your schedule. Advocacy work happens at City Hall and county offices without you in the room. De Pere Chamber Connect sends curated email introductions to other members on your behalf. If you do have time, events like Morning Business Brew, Let's Lunch, and the Golf Outing are where relationships deepen — but they're a bonus, not the only path to ROI.
What visibility services are included in my dues vs. available à la carte?
At the Classic ($300) and Community ($650) tiers, visibility services are available à la carte — you pay per placement: Member Spotlight $400, Guest Blog $250, website banner $100 a month, monthly newsletter ad $250. At the Connector tier ($1,500) and above, Member Spotlight and Guest Blog are included in annual dues, along with Ask the Expert video access. Catalyst ($3,500) and Champion ($7,000) members receive the broadest visibility package. Are chamber dues tax-deductible?
Chamber membership dues are generally deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense under IRS Section 162 — the same category as trade publication subscriptions, professional association dues, and similar costs. They are not deductible as charitable contributions. The De Pere Area Chamber is a 501(c)(6) membership organization, not a 501(c)(3) charity; only donations to the affiliated De Pere Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation (DPACCF) qualify as charitable deductions. Each year, the chamber provides an annual Section 6033(e) disclosure noting the portion of dues allocated to lobbying activity, which is not deductible as a business expense under that provision. Consult your tax adviser for guidance specific to your situation.
What's the difference between the chamber and the Foundation?
The De Pere Area Chamber of Commerce is a 501(c)(6) membership organization. Dues fund chamber operations: the directory, events, advocacy, staff, and visibility services. The De Pere Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation (DPACCF) is a separate, legally distinct 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Foundation donations may be tax-deductible as charitable contributions; chamber dues are not. As a chamber member, you are connected to the Foundation's five program pillars — youth, veterans, women in business, community faith, and civic connection — and to the community relationships those programs generate. Isn't the chamber just for big companies?
No. The Classic tier at $300 a year is specifically sized for businesses under 25 employees, and the $100 Citizen membership is built for individual professionals and solo operators. Of the chamber's 299 member businesses, the majority are small and mid-size local businesses — not the area's largest employers. Ribbon cuttings, networking lunches like Morning Business Brew and Let's Lunch, and the member directory work equally well for a one-person consultancy and a 50-person manufacturer. If anything, smaller businesses benefit more from the trust signal a chamber listing provides, because they have less brand recognition to fall back on.
